|A museum of the famous rock-musician and poet Alexander Bashlachev has been opened in his native city Cherepovets.
The Central Music Library has provided space for the new museum. Exhibits for the museum were handed over even during the opening ceremony. For example, one of the exhibits is a microphone, which only Alexander Bashlachev sang with.
Alexander’s family presented the desk, at which he had worked, his bookshelf, and photos from the family archive to the museum. On the desk, covered with glass, there are his articles published in the Kommunist newspaper of Cherepovets. Alexander Bashlachev was one of the first to start writing articles about Russian rock in the local newspaper. The exposition, naturally, contains lots of audio and video records featuring him.
The museum has two sections: the exposition itself and a venue to assemble poets and musicians, both beginning and already famous.
