02.12.2009 - Russian Version of Google Books Launched
Internet major Google recently launched Russian version of its well-known project Google Books. This service will provide access to the books by first-rate Russian publishers.

The idea of Google Books was born much earlier than Google itself. The idea dawned on Sergey Brin and Lawrence Page, Google founders, when they were studying at a university. Guys imagined that all books of the world were available to anyone in any place. Now this project comes to our country.

Today Google Books contain 10 million books in 100 languages. The corporation cooperates with many publishers and libraries and provides access to both free books and books, protected by copyright..
