|Relaxation of visa requirements is supposed to be introduced for the tourists from Russia in some countries in 2010, the number of the countries practicing visa-free regime for the Russians will also increase.
Some EU countries began relaxation of visa requirements for the Russians already in 2009. For example, the Russian tourists visiting Spain have obtained semi-annual multiple entry Schengen visa in spite of single entry visa they usually obtained. The Italian government has also put toward an initiative like this, although not so radical. The measures like this can be awaited in the Baltic States because of the considerable decrease of the Russian tourists’ flow.
The year 2009 was marked with visa abolition agreements of Russia with some countries of Latin America. The waivers with Argentina, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Guatemala, considerable relaxation of visa requirements for the Russians in Mexico might have continuation. Some tour operators suppose that Brazil and Chili and some other Latin America States are going to abolish visas in 2010.
