|From November 26 to January 24, 2010 the exhibition halls of Andriaka Watercolor School will be displaying the exposition “Watercolor and Graphic Art from Collection of A.G. Yegorov. Russian and West-European Atists of the 16th - mid 20th cc”.
The exposition boasts over 230 watercolors and drawings, with many of them being truly unique. Most of the works are being displayed for the first time, which gives visitors an opportunity to discover new facets of the artists’ talents.
Genres of the collection works are diverse: these are portraits, genre scenes, nature sketches, landscapes, and compositions on antique and evangelical themes. Apart from watercolours and drawings by recognized masters, the exhibition introduces works by the undeservedly forgotten virtuoso artists, such as S. Dilaktorski, M. Balunin, M. Guzhavin, F. Klimenko, and V. Navozov.
