03.12.2009 - NON/FICTION Book Fair Starts in Moscow
The 11th International Book Fair of Intellectual Literature NON/FICTION has kicked off in Moscow.
Despite skeptical prognoses, more than 250 publishing houses from 20 countries are taking part in it this year. The guest of honour this time is Czechia.
Just like in the previous years the book fair non/fiction is far beyond an ordinary bookselling event with book presentations and meetings with authors.
The 9-hour long film Shoah by director Claude Lanzmann will be for the first time screened in the framework of the fair; it should be pointed out that the theme of Holocaust is of special interest with publishers this year. There will be presented several book novelties on the topic.
The non/fiction book fair will run till December 6.
