|Tourists can take a cruise trip in the Arctic Seas on a board of nuclear icebreaker of Captain Khlebnikov. The route of expedition is unique, and the event itself too, because the trip, planned for summer, 2011 is supposed to be the last one for the ship.
The trip will start in Anadyr (Chukotka), on the July, 12, 2011 and finishes in Murmansk in 25 days. Expedition participants will visit Wrangel Island, well-known in Arctic seas with large sea cows' rookeries and very high density of polar bear dens. After that the touristssit archipelagos of Severnaya Zemlya and Frantz Jozeph Land and see traces of three expeditions on Flora Cape.
The program includes short trips on motor boats for observing wild and very rare animals and birds. Helicopters will provide landings in places, inaccessible with other means of transport. Captain's bridge is open for passengers, if they are interested in details of ice navigation. Only 12 lucky tourists will take part in this expedition, which costs from $27 390.
