A 12-meter bottle filled with smashed cars is aimed to remind that so many people perish due to reckless drivers who like to hog when they are drunk. After a conference dedicated to issues of the safety of road traffic the monument will move to its permanent place, most probably the reconstructed Leninsky Avenue. In 2009 drunk drivers caused about 10 thousand car accidents, which resulted in deaths of over 1800 people and various injuries of over 15.5 thousand people. Source: spbvoditel.ru
